The Company and the Role:
The Company is a successful independently owned hospitality group with businesses in London and along the South Coast including an establishment in Southampton.
This is a new position within this expanding company who are seeking an accomplished Bookkeeper to provide an overall bookkeeping service to the establishment in Southampton. After 6 months it is envisaged, the successful applicant will take on the bookkeeping for a second business.
Reporting into the General Manager and ultimately the Company Director, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing tax returns, and overseeing the financial health of the company, in doing so preparing financial statements for review by the company`s Director.

This is an excellent opportunity within an expanding independently owned business.
Working hours are Mondays and Fridays 9am to 6pm, Tuesdays to Thursdays 10am to 6pm, with a 30 minute lunch break. Occasional weekend day depending on end of month reporting date.
Basic salary will be around £25,000 - £28,000 depending upon experience, possibly more for an exceptional candidate.
Holidays are 22 days plus bank and public holiday. There is free parking available and a staff discount of 25% of food in their establishments.
