We are looking for a bright, enthsiastic and customer focused telesales representative to contribute to generating sales. Reporting to the Director of communications you will be responsible for closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships.
Day Responsibilties
Contact existing and potential members to describe advertising and sponsorship opportunties
This may involve cold calling
Contact existing members to arrange the placement and design of advertising they have agreed and to maintain existing relationships
Conduct phone - based customer satisfaction surveys and Quarterley Economic Surveys as required
Research member needs and explain the benefits of buying advertising space
Explain pricing costs to potential members and negotiate fees
Take an account management approach to all existing members to ensure their needs are satisified
Work closely with the Marketing and Communications Team and Membership team to ensure work is communicated
Track Sales and customer interactions on inhouse CRM system
Deliver sales report to the Director of Marketing and Communications
Complete and monitor all paperwork/processes relating to a sale
Knowledge and skills
Knowledge and understanding of how a membership organisation operates
Good level of ICT Skills within an office environment, especially MS Word, Excel, Oulook and CRM Systems
Time Management, attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
Excellent communication skills
Experience of telephone Sales
Experience of Face to Face Sales
Achieving sales targets and working to tight deadlines
Experience of conducting telephone based surveys
Experience of delivering first class customer service
Experience of working within a marketing or publishing team
