We currently have an exciting Counterbalance Forklift driver position working in Goods In for a well established fresh food production company based in Southampton.
The role will be 12 weeks temporary to permanent and offers a very competitive salary along with career progression and the chance to join a small and effective goods in team.
Working in an ambient controlled environment - the position will involve ensuring that goods are handled and booked in efficiently into fridges and freezers for the picking teams to have easy access to stock locations. Making sure that all produce is correctly labelled and recorded onto the current company system and ensuing that orders are met to schedule whilst following health and safety procedures. Operating a Counterbalance forklift when required to assist with vehicle loading and handling stock to be located.
Candidates will need to have goods in or previous warehouse/logistics experience and hold a valid Forklift licence or have had good experience working with a previous in-house issued licence. The role will will be both physical and busy and candidates must be willing to support other areas of the site when required. Transport would be preferred due to the remote location.
