The Company and the Role:

The Company was founded in 1994 and has won many awards. They provide IT managed services and enterprise-level hosting services to mid-market companies.

Their customer base is in construction, education, financial services, health trust, manufacturing and transport, public sector, retail and distribution, and third sector state sponsored industries.

They are very supportive to the ex-military community so expressions of interest from serving or ex-military personnel with IT and Communications expertise are very welcome.

The Company is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to be based at a client’s site in Belfast. The position is permanent.


Key Features of the Role:

• Be part of the Delivery and Operations Team, facilitate the resolution of complex technical and business problems, which have an impact on technical and financial results of the company ensuring the highest level of operational service delivery.

• Be the main point of contact for customers, ensuring all queries are resolved or escalated in the appropriate manner.

• Ensure that Service Levels comply with contractual deliverables on a day-to-day basis.

• Extensive contractual understanding of service engagements

• Schedule technical resources in a professional and flexible way with a workable process which will always ensure suitable cover for both project work and customer support.

• Out of hours escalation cover and participate in the Major Incident Management Process


Knowledge and Skills:

• Be an accomplished Service Delivery Manager
• Ideally experienced in Wintel Server Administration Experience
• Security Management Principles
• Knowledge of ISO27001 and appropriate security models.
• ITIL foundation
• Knowledge of hosting technologies including public, private and hybrid cloud options
• Commercial awareness of hosting options
• Certified Ethical Hacker or equivalent
• Previous Team lead experience
