A large, private estate in Surrey is seeking four Security Guards to provide protection from intruders and in turn be able to review internal security procedures. The Security Guards will be part of a two-man team on a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern. It is essential the Security Guard have previous experience in a similar role, be professional, physically fit, can communicate clearly and effectively, and is adaptable; previous military or police experience desirable. The Security Guard will also have a driver's licence. Applications from suitably experienced ex- military personnel (British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy or Royal Marines) are strongly encouraged to apply. Key duties/responsibilities: • Provide security for large private estate • Patrolling grounds on foot and with vehicle • Reviewing of internal security procedures • Work with existing security team and dog handlers • Liaise with police when needed Personal Specification: • Have recent proven experience working in a similar environment in security • Have a UK driver's licence • Able to communicate clearly and concisely • Able to work as a team and on own initiative • Be discrete and highly professional • Be physically fit • Have necessary certification • A previous background in the military or police is desirable Salary/Hours £28,000 Shift work: 4 nights on – 4 off
