Description :

A leading medical devices manufacturer is seeking a Commercial Tenders & Framework Co-ordinator to facilitate the communication and management of existing and new NHS procurement frameworks based in Slough. The Commercial Tenders and Framework Coordinator will also internally manage, update and communicate changes to pricing structures, and identify, monitor and administer OJEU notices and tender opportunities, framework agreements and more. Ideally you will have a previous background in procurement, tendering or purchasing and have experience with quality management ideally to ISO standards.

Applications from suitably experienced ex-military personnel (British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy or Royal Marines) are strongly encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review framework and tender efficiency
  • Co-ordinate response for all tenders and conduct final reviews
  • Collation of analysis of performance information
  • Monitor and coordinate all framework agreements and conduct final reviews
  • Administration of customer and pricing portals
  • Manage and organise tender and framework submissions, ensuring all relevant responsibilities and deadlines are met
  • Maintaining documentation of all NHS and private hospital group discount arrangements
  • Manage and update applicable processes, procedures and documents, and maintain records in accordance with ISO 13485.
  • Commercial contract reviews and administration

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Minimum GCSE level qualifications or equivalent
  • Have PRINCE 2 qualification or proven experience in project management
  • Working knowledge of public procurement regulations
  • Financially aware/literate
  • Experience with quality management, ideally to ISO standards
  • Well organised, accurate and meticulous attention to detail

Desirable:

  • Experience with SAP

Salary:

£35,000+   DOE
