Multi-drop Delivery Driver /Guard ProActive Rail working in partnership with their client, top security services company, is currently recruiting reliable security-conscious team players, who understand great customer service to join their Cash in Transit team as a Multi-drop delivery & collection Driver/Guard. Applicants will have first class communication and organisation skills.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include operating an armoured vehicle carrying out multi-drop secure delivery and collection of cash and coin to and from their customers premises.
Candidate profile:
Must be able to provide documents that confirm eligibility to work in the UK. Must have a valid CVIT (Cash and Valuable in Transit) SIA licence or if you do not currently have one, the company will apply on your behalf. Must be able to provide 10 years checkable history and need not to apply if you have a criminal record that would prevent an SIA Licence being granted, or any current or settled CCJ's or IVA's in the past 6 years that would appear on your credit history. Due to the nature of the industry you will need to be confident working to stringent procedures within a highly regulated environment. Ability and flexibility to adapt to a fast pace environment of operations that demand dedication, teamwork and military precision.
You will be required to follow set procedures, assess risks, deal sensitively with customers, lift some heavy loads and keep your wits about you constantly. Demonstrate a proactive attitude by carrying out any other duties as deemed reasonable.
Must be age 21 or over. Must have minimum 4 years driving experience and hold a full UK driving licence.
Shifts Pattern:
Permanent Full-time working patterns are 4 or 5 scheduled days from Monday through to Sunday with additional hours available from time to time. Shifts have variable morning start times with afternoon/evening finishes. Part-time working patterns are 4 or 5 scheduled days from Monday through to Sunday with additional hours available from time to time. Shifts have variable morning start times with afternoon/evening finishes, so on contracted days your availability must be for that full working day without restriction in hours.
Salary: £11.93 per hour (inclusive of Inner London Allowance) increasing to £12.93 after successful completion of a probation period.
