Total Annual salary up to £66,000 inc Annual Bonus + Benefits
New and exciting permanent R&D Manager opportunity based in Hampshire paying up to £60,000 + annual bonus + benefits, with a brand and company in a fast paced and bespoke electronics, software, wireless and IoT technologies, responsible for all R&D.
This is a new and exciting opportunity to join an established company and brand who have seen amazing growth and expansion, who are looking to add a fantastic R&D professional to their already talented and established team.

- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexi-time arrangements.

What you will bring to the R&D Manager role:
- Experience in the field of electronics, software, wireless and IoT technologies.
- Project management in areas of design projects for multiple concurrent complex products.
- Team management, mentorship, training, and motivation.
- Management focus on time, costs and budgets for short and long duration project milestones and finalisation / completion.
- Successful communication techniques for escalation handling and to manage 3rd party suppliers, key stakeholders, and customers.
- Matrix structure knowledge and negotiation experience.
- Delivering comprehensive design solutions, meeting environmental requirements.
The successful skill set for the R&D Manager role is someone with knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering skills (specifically electronic and software engineering design, maths, and engineering principles). You must bring practical experience of design and deploying wireless systems, with the ability to assess functional requirements and execute concept designs, and skilled customer / account management. The successful candidate needs to identify key dependencies, critical paths, and constraints. Working collaboratively.
Requirements:
- To be considered for the R&D Manager opportunity you must have a degree in electronics, electronics and engineering, or physics.
- Your application will also be prioritised if you have a recognised project managements qualification (e.g. Prince 2), Chartered Engineer or relevant software degree.
- It is essential for you to have a competent user level of MS Office products.
- You will also be required to successfully pass security clearance as part of the job role and client industry sectors you are working with.
- Experience in the field of wireless technologies and IoT technologies is essential.
- Experience leading or supervising a team and engineering design projects for new markets.
- You will be required to complete BPSS security clearance.
