The Company and the Role:
A leading Facilities Management company looking to recruit an Arabic speaking Operations Manager that has an extensive experience in the Oil and Gas, Catering, Hospitality industry and FMCG and having occupied a similar position in a large-scale operation.
The position is permanent on an open ended contract.
Key Features of the Role:
Seeking an Arabic speaking Operations Manager to manage multiple sites and contracts to achieve client satisfaction and safe day to day operation at each site, all within budget and meeting all aspects of the various contracts.
Managing a team of Catering Managers, IFM staff and Site Managers you will manage and plan all IFM (Integrated Facilities Management) requirements, which will cover, catering, maintenance, laundry etc.
Provide daily and weekly reports on all sites and provide customer service at all levels.
Oversee Budgets and maintain and increase staff performance levels.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Be an accomplished Arabic speaking Operations Manager with experience in Camp management ideally in the Middle East and to Oil and Gas Clients.
A strong Catering background and experience in multi - site management with a large workforce and an excellent knowledge of remote site management.
Proficient in financial statements analysis with a proven record of optimising operating costs and driving revenues.
Experienced in bid preparation both Technical and Commercial
Able to lead negotiations and have excellent customer service skills
Ability to understand and speak Arabic is essential and in any event, you must be able to read, write and speak English.
Superb inter-personal skills and instant credibility are essential as you will be inter-facing with a number of people from different backgrounds, nationalities and religions.
Resourceful with a flexible outlook, have the ability to multi-task in order to handle competing priorities and be able to fit in to an international dynamic and multi-cultural environment.
Finally, you should possess a Drivers Licence and be PC / IT literate particularly with MS office.
