The Company and the Role:

 The Company was founded in 1994 and has won many awards. They provide IT managed services and enterprise-level hosting services to mid-market companies.

 

Their customer base is in construction, education, financial services, health trust, manufacturing and transport, public sector, retail and distribution, and third sector state sponsored industries.

 

They are very supportive to the ex-military community so expressions of interest from serving or ex-military personnel with IT and Communications expertise are very welcome.

 

The Company is seeking a Solutions Architect to be based at a client’s office in Belfast.  The position is permanent.

 

Key Features of the Role:

  • Business Development
  • Create strategic road maps for Enterprise customers.
  • Responsible for large scale bid management
  • Assist Account Managers in proposal/tender creation and development as and when required.
  • Assistance with the evaluation, planning, specification, and design of new installations i.e., technical projects, tender proposals, change control, and technical knowledge transfer.
  • Encourage technical staff in “finding” sales leads, or income generating work and service time.
  • Help to build relationships with partner organisations - Microsoft/VMware/EMC/Cisco/Citrix and other partners.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Be an accomplished Solutions Architect
  • Experience in Microsoft Lync, Microsoft Enterprise and the Microsoft stack
  • Experience in “Enterprise” level project design and implementation
  • Good understanding of project management Prince2 methodology and project management skills
  • Professional approach to all work activities both internal and external
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively either alone or as part of a team.
