Impressive full time permanent opportunity for a Head Housekeeper in a Wiltshire based hotel managing the efficient running of the housekeeping department.
The company is a popular brand venue with great attractions and appeal to both locals and tourists, offering great experiences and options to all guests of the hotel.
The Head Housekeeper is responsible for cleanliness of all hotel bedrooms and public areas.
Ensuring maintenance issues are highlighted and repair work actioned to company standard.
Respectful and pro-active leader who can supervise, train, and motivate their team.
Key Features of the Role:
• Head Housekeeper is responsible for all the legal requirements of the housekeeping team.
• Ensuring exacting standards are achieved and a source of pride within your team, and that everyone has a uniformity and pro-active approach to housekeeping.
• Manage guest lost property, bedroom checks in a consistent manner, cleanliness, and maintenance reporting.
• Manage relationship and communication between your team and the reception, to achieve a hotel team approach when it comes to security, guest expectation, customer services, compliance, awareness of preventative measures that might damage the hotel brand.
• Manage costs, rotas, stock, waste and have financial awareness how your department impacts the hotels business.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Head Housekeeper experience in a hotel, guest house or accommodation blocks is essential.
• Management or supervisory experience of a housekeeping team is essential.
• You must be experienced dealing with all aspects within a housekeeping team, thinking on your feet, showing flexibility, communicating efficiently and effectively.
• Ideally, we are looking for a Head Housekeeper who can produce fresh ideas, encourage creative thinking, and turn these into realistic solutions.
• Head Housekeeper has to be someone who can make decisions and who accepts responsibility of their actions, positive or negative outcomes.
What is on Offer?
Competitive basic salary up to £24,000 (depending on experience).
