Key Features of the Role:
Knowledge and Skills Required:
You must be an accomplished Demi Chef de Partie with a good employment record or alternatively an experienced Commis Chef looking for the next step up in your career.
You should have basic catering and kitchen experience supported by industry qualifications and or training.
Experience cooking fresh food menu items from scratch is preferred as there is no microwave used to cook all the food in this kitchen.
Reliable transport is a must (car or motorbike) to get to the venue, as there are no public transport links and no live-in options available.
Experience of working in a busy kitchen / restaurant environment where orders can come thick and fast, having the calmness to work through multiple orders as directed.
You will also need to be someone who can identify if they are overwhelmed and need support, as well as offering this to others when needed, as success is a team effort.
What is on Offer?
Basic annual salary ranging from £20K to £22K based on transferable skills, knowledge, experience and passing a trade test.
Service charge (Tronc) usually ranging between £200 - £300pm (That is up to £3,600pa extra).
3.5 working days per week, 1 long weekend per month on a rota 3 months in advance.
Personal guidance, tuition, and training from well-known celebrity Chefs onsite and as part of the venue`s masterclasses.

Holiday entitlement 20 days plus all bank and public holidays, rising 1 day each year for 5yrs.
