This growing insurance business is looking to add to its Fleet Insurance Sales Agent ranks and wants to bring in an experienced telephone-based sales professional who is interested and engaged in vehicles.

All businesses need to make sure their vehicles are insured, and this amazing company provides a fast, simple, and assured way to organise insurance cover, considering all aspects, filtering through the marketplace to find the most competitive quotes.

All you need is a positive mental attitude and experience within telesales, the company will supply full training and product knowledge, so you can hit the ground running, making confident and quality sales and get paid bonus / commission.

No cold calling, all leads, and referrals have been assessed and have tangible needs and interests, you are building rapport and a relationship, carrying out fact-finding questioning, gathering insurance propositions, and then selling them to the end user client.

Key Features of the Role:

  • As a Fleet Insurance Sales Agent, you will be in a telephone-based sales environment and role with targets and KPI’s.
  • Building rapport with business client, gathering data, finding insurance propositions, selling insurance products to the business client.
  • You will be working either in the Fleet Insurance Sales team office or remotely.
  • Following financial regulations and guidance on a recorded telephony system.
  • Using a client database throughout your day-to-day sales functions.
  • Working Monday to Friday 8:30 till 17:30, 1 Saturday in 4 (9:30 to 13:00)

Knowledge and Skills Required:

To be successful as a Fleet Insurance Sales Agent you need to be professional, confident, and experienced in the basics of telephone sales, or telemarketing.

This particular role and department require someone to have an interest or engagement in automotive vehicles (cars, vans, bikes, trucks, etc.).

Emotionally robust, able to handle rejection or push back from clients over the phone.

Information gathering, using various questioning techniques, listening to the clients needs, requirements and budget, and be confident to pitch a product and close a sale.

You do not need any motor insurance experience as the company will train you in all areas of insurance policy, you just need to be able to retain knowledge and gain understanding.

Able to communicate professionally and articulate, as you will be explaining financial regulations, guidelines, and policy documentation.

What is on Offer?

This fantastic Fleet Insurance Sales Agent opportunity pays between £22K - £25K basic.

For a new starter bonus / commission can average out at £500pm, (top earners are making a lot more).

Full induction training and on-going product knowledge to always keep you ahead in the fleet insurance market.

25 days holiday + Bank holidays on top (1 bank holiday you will be asked to work on restricted hours but will be paid accordingly).

The option to work in the Southampton office or remotely, with all equipment supplied.

Pension and other work benefits are available along with career progression.

Basic salary and commission reviews are also on-going to increase your earning potential.
