The Company and the Role:

The Company is possibly the most talked-about group of Hotels to emerge in recent years. 

The group and brand offer a touch of superior elegance inside and outside with acres of fabulous grounds, which make it more like a restaurant with rooms and kitchen garden.

They are seeking a passionate permanent Part Time Breakfast Chef to join their award-winning hotel restaurant located in a beautiful part of North Somerset.

Passion is key to the Company`s success; they want their Chefs to be enthusiastic with the same passion for modern British food as they do.

As a Breakfast Chef, you will be running the breakfast service. Ensuring all standards are maintained both on made to order and buffet items.

You will be responsible for prep for the next day and preparation of the staff lunch.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferable, but above all you to be reliable and committed to the early starts.

Key Features of the Role:

As a Breakfast Chef you will:

  • Commit to early starts.
  • Working hours can start at 6am and finish at 12midday, (up to 5 days a week).
  • Highly organized, when serving up to 50-60 covers for a breakfast service.
  • A passion for modern British food.
  • Running the breakfast service and assisting with lunchtime prep and service.
  • Ensuring standards are maintained on made to order and buffet items.
  • Responsible for providing the staff lunch.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Accomplished Breakfast Chef or Chef with experience of working in a fresh food kitchen at a similar level and want to work early morning shifts.

Above all you must be a real \"foodie\" able to spread the word to the Company`s customers about the importance of the art of serving good, fresh, and local food in an ever-increasing world where convenience is becoming the norm, they need people who have a love and passion for all things food.

You will be a great team player with good organisational skills with the ability to thrive in a very busy hotel and restaurant, where the Company`s reputation for consistently preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to the right quality, is second to none.

Previous experience in a similar role and someone who can thrive under pressure in a busy kitchen environment, supported by some form of catering qualification.

The Company wants their Breakfast Chef to be as passionate and enthusiastic about modern British food as they are and have similar high standards.

Driving licence and reliable transport is required to get to interview and work on a day-to-day basis, as there is no `live in` option, the venue is not accessible via public transport.

What is on Offer?

Amazing full-time permanent Breakfast Chef opportunity in a creative, fresh 5-Star and Rosette level standard kitchen.

Basic annual salary for Breakfast Chef is £10 per hour, judged on interview, trial, and experience.

Tronc (service charges) available on top of basic salary estimated about £2,500pa.

Working 24 hours per week, 5 days a week, mix of shifts, with some weekends off.
