The Company and the Role:

The Company was founded in 1994 and has won many awards. They provide IT managed services and enterprise-level hosting services to mid-market companies.

Their customer base is in construction, education, financial services, health trust, manufacturing and transport, public sector, retail and distribution, and third sector state sponsored industries.

They are very supportive to the ex-military community so expressions of interest from serving or ex-military personnel with IT and Communications expertise are very welcome.

The Company is seeking a Contract Manager to be based at a client’s office in Belfast. The position is permanent.

Key Features of the Role:

• Understand existing contractual relationships becoming familiar with master agreements and associated schedules.
• Create appropriate contract change notes and supervising their progress to signature.
• Write, evaluate, negotiate and execute various contracts with key subcontractors and suppliers into the master agreements, covering a range of transactions.
• Communicate and present information to stakeholders regarding contracts.
• Monitor contracts and moving forward with close-out, extension or renewal of contracts.
• Problem-solving on contract-related issues.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ideally previous experience working as a Contract Manager on multi -million pound contracts within the IT Industry.
• Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to research and understand legal and financial implications.
• Excellent understanding of the business or industry, its services, customers and providers.
• Ideally exposure to public sector contract regulations and experience within NHS sector and management of OJEU framework contracts.
