Job Details
An established air conditioning company is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to provide support on their range of automatic controls for their air conditioning products used in commercial environments.
The Control Systems Engineer will be able to programme and create controls. In addition, the Control Systems Engineer will have previous experience designing PCB boards and fault-find. You will also have good people-facing skills and have excellent communication skills. Applications from suitably experienced ex-military personnel (British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy or Royal Marines) are strongly encouraged.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write software to create controls and modify software
• Design PCB boards and fault-find
• Prepare GERBER files
• Work with colleagues in order to improve product and company sales
• Remotely adjust controls using team viewer etc.
• Co-ordinate with producers/manufacturers
Person Specification:
• Minimum A-level qualifications or equivalent
• Proven ability to programme software and design PCB boards
• Have good people-skills • Have excellent communication and verbal skills
• Good teamwork skills and able to work on own initiative
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
