The Company and the Role:

The Company was founded in 1994 and has won many awards. They provide IT managed services and enterprise-level hosting services to mid-market companies.

Their customer base is in construction, education, financial services, health trust, manufacturing and transport, public sector, retail and distribution, and third sector state sponsored industries.

They are very supportive to the ex-military community so expressions of interest from serving or ex-military personnel with IT and Communications expertise are very welcome.

They are seeking a Senior Technical Services Engineer – Comms and Collaboration to be based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The position is permanent.

Key Features of the Role:

• Monitor tickets logged in to the IT Service Management System and prioritise these in relation to the set SLA agreement in place with the customer, the risk and approximate amount of time required for the ticket.
• Liaise directly with the customer to resolve issues
• Work on roll-out and delivery of IT projects
• Investigate the problem whilst keeping in contact with the customer and logging notes in the system.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Be an accomplished Technical Services Engineer with experience in Hosted Skype for Business
• Knowledge of and experience in implementing and supporting the operation of Microsoft Lync / Skype for Business and Azure or Cisco Unified Comms
• Knowledge of and experience in implementing and supporting the operation of MS Teams
• Knowledge of and experience in implementing and supporting the operation of contact centre solutions and associated reporting services
• Experience of large user migrations
• Working knowledge of supporting an existing Session Border controller configuration
• Demonstrable experience of troubleshooting SIP protocol problems.
• Use of troubleshooting tools and applying a robust methodology
• Experience in porting of existing telephone number ranges

The role will carry an attractive salary dependent upon your experience and skill set plus a bonus earning opportunity dependent upon company and employee performance.
