Job Details
We are looking for a SC cleared Survival Equipment Technician for the Maintenance, Rectification and Modification of Survival Equipment (SE) and Aircrew Equipment Assemblies (AEA) in support of Typhoon and BBMF. Fitting of AEA and Helmets when required. Working in-line with the daily flying programme as required.
SE and AEA will encompass the following equipment:
• Helmets (Mk 10 & 4A/4 variants)
• O2 Masks
• Full coverage Anti-G Assemblies
• Immersion Protection Garments
• Life Saving appliances
• Parachute assemblies
• Life Rafts and Personal Survival Packs
There will be a requirement to work on other similar types of equipment.
You will be expected to work within the unit’s quality management system, within the total safety framework including adherence to local tool control procedures and orders.
Qualification Q-SE-AC or AV-MED desirable.
As well as the experience required above you will have the necessary qualifications, skills & experience to take control of this requirement from its inception to its completion.
