 Trusted, permanent Director of Public Affairs opportunity with pioneering company.

 Successful Global specialist in surveillance and navigation systems, based North London.

 Over 250 years of history working in the marine and naval sector.

 Synonymous with the best traditions of nautical achievements.

 Providing radar technologies and capabilities of detecting the smallest of targets in clutter.

 Meeting the surveillance, safety and security needs of a large variety of land and sea clients across the globe.

 Director of Public Affairs must be EU or GB Passport Holder plus have a minimum of 5 years current and provable UK residency due to MoD security and background checks.

 

Key Features of the Role:

  • Public Affairs Department is responsible for all relevant political contacts.
  • Responsible for co-operation with all clients in the EU (Germany, France and GB).
  • Develop and execute strategies intended to create and uphold positive public image.
  • Working and formulating relationships with various members of media, government, and public, coordinating and supporting sales topics and campaigns.
  • Create, maintain and protect the organization’s reputation and client’s public image, and enhance its prestige.
  • Working with MoD and subordinate authorities, Parliament, relevant associations, Trade Unions etc.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Be an accomplished Director of Public Affairs professional with EU client reach.
  • Experience managing and maintaining relationships with MoD, Parliament, relevant associations and Trade Unions.
  • Essential PR strategy preparation, conceptualising, planning and budgetary development experience.
  • University degree in business administration, economics or comparable is essential. 
  • Industry or Political spokesperson or Lobbyist with relevant industry experience or a broad network in national politics is essential. 
  • UK or EU Passport Holder, with 5 years current provable residency in the UK, for MoD security search and background checks.
