Amazing permanent Live-In opportunity for a General Manager with an award-winning group of Gastro Pubs, based near Gravesend Kent, motivating, coaching and leading all business aspects of a Gastro Pub.
Due to internal progression across their 8 multi award-winning Gastro Pub sites the Company are looking to bring in a vibrant, proven, premier and passionate General Manager.
The Company are very proud of this venue and want someone who can bring their enthusiasm to motivate the team.
The venue is situated in the beautiful Kent countryside and is not accessible via public transport, so you must have your own reliable transport to get to site.
The Company General Managers are responsible for generating and maintaining revenue streams and are required to have a hands-on approach and have to live on site.
Key Features of the Role:
As General Manager you have all of the general day to day responsibilities and duties for the running of the Gastro Pub, using the company assets and staff available to you.
Making sure all teams are managed professionally and that the day Gastro Pub runs effectively, efficiently and with a profit.
Compiling, reviewing and discussing spreadsheets, P&L, GP margins, recruitment figures and turnover with your management team, using computer software and in-house systems.
Ensuring that the high levels of customer service and brand values are delivered through training and coaching, ensuring these are maintained at all times.
Ensuring all food and drink consumed on and off site from your venue through normal day to day activities, exciting events and functions achieve the high brand standards at all times.
As General Manager the buck stops with you, this can bring pressure, but it is also highly rewarding, especially when you are supported and rewarded by a dedicated Head Office.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
To be successful in this General Manager opportunity you will need to have a current background having worked in a Gastro Pub or similar at GM or Assistant or Deputy GM.
You will need to have a branded venue background and experience, to work to Head Office brand values, standards and guidelines.
You must be able to compile, review and understand P&L`s reports, GP margin, stock takes as well as all relevant and related spreadsheets and reports the business generates.
Its essential you have knowledge of SOP`s and all venue policies and documentation to make sure the site is run to legislative standards and has its certificates and licences.
You must be able to lead and motivate by example and get stuck in.
All GM`s are required to live on site, and this is no different, so you must treat the accommodation respectfully and professionally, a background check may be required.
What`s on Offer?
This opportunity as a General Manager pays between £30K - £36K as a basic annual salary.
The Company will offer Tips, Discretionary Bonus Scheme and Staff Loyalty Bonus Scheme.
Live-In accommodation is offered with the position and free parking.
Contributory Pension Scheme.
Full time permanent contract with 28 days holiday.
