Description :
An energy services company near Adlington is looking to hire a Project Installation Manager. Our client offers a broad range of energy efficiency measures to a range of sectors across sites in the United Kingdom. A Project Installations Manager will be responsible for the simultaneous management of several of the company’s projects. You should be located within 1 hour of Adlington, but you will be contractually based at home.

Key Responsibilities:
- Follow and improve established processes for design and project management
- Develop and implement project monitoring systems to allow effective management of all projects both in installation and operational phases
- Develop and maintain a pool of approved sub-contractors, specialist contractors and consultants
- Full financial management responsibility for individual projects
- The role will require the holder to travel as necessary within the UK including nights away from home
- They will be required to regularly attend team meetings, customer sites and client meetings
- Maintain and improve the health and safety management in compliance with all necessary regulations
Knowledge/Experience/Skills
Essential:
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) ideally in a relevant engineering discipline e.g. Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years’ experience of managing all aspects of a building services type engineering project including the selection and management of sub-contractors
- Experience of HVAC, general building or energy services
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety issues e.g. construction design and management (CDM) regulations
- NEBOSH (or equivalent) qualified with current SMSTS accreditation
- Knowledge and competence in using MS Project (or similar) and Excel
Desirable:
- A member of an appropriate professional body e.g. CIBSE, IEE, IMechE, MEI etc.
- Experience of Combined Heat/Power technologies
- Knowledge of G99 application process
- Commercial experience: Knowledge of standard forms of contract e.g. JCT, NEC preferable, knowledge of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), experience of risk management, track record of delivering projects on time and to budget.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
Hours:
- Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
