A Maintenance Engineer is needed at a manufacturing facility in Epsom. Ideally, a Mechanical bias is preferred, but a 50/50 biased engineer would be welcome to apply. It is essential that Maintenance Engineers have experience of leading and motivating a maintenance team within a manufacturing environment as well as a good command of English. This is a full-time role from 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday only.

Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the upkeep of all equipment and associated plant onsite.
- To work strictly to standard operating procedures
- To assist in maintaining each work area in a timely and orderly fashion
- To follow the lean principles on site
- To support the existing team, ensuring safe systems of work, training and competence, whilst working within a continuous improvement culture.
- To ensure compliance with all aspects of health and safety.
- Ensure appropriate records and documentation is kept in an organized manner.
- Support monthly KPI updates to the management team.
Knowledge/Experience/Skills
Essential:
- Mechanical bias is preferred
- Experience of leading and motivating a maintenance team within a manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of written and spoken English (maths and literacy)
Desirable:
- Qualification in Maintenance, Engineering (mechanical or electrical) or similar
- Experience with moulding
- Experience with lean principles
- Health and Safety qualification
Hours:
- Full time, 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday (OT available)
