Description :
Plumbers will be dedicated to providing maintenance provide maintenance and plumbing services on Client properties situated on a Private Estate in Surrey. It is essential the Plumber has a NVQ level 3 and has certified domestic Gas Safe qualifications. You must have your own tools and have a UK driving licence.
Applications from suitably experienced ex-military personnel (British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy or Royal Marines) are strongly encouraged
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair hot and cold water supplies, sanitation and waste disposal systems and central heating systems
- Fix and maintain piped services.
- Assist other staff members as required.
- Maintain inventory for plumbing materials.
- Liaise regularly with colleagues, supervisors and managers to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered to the client at all times.
- Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence.
- Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, particularly in regard to health and safety.
- Any other duties as and when requested.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- City & Guilds 6089 NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Plumbing
- Unvented ticket
- Certified Gas Safe Domestic and preferably Catering
- Knowledge of Health and Safety
- Knowledge of building regulations
- Have own hand tools
- Full valid UK driving license
- Careful, accurate, logical and methodical approach to work
- Strong time management, organization and planning skills
- Highly conscientious, confidential and discreet
- Able to follow drawings and plans accurately
- Strong practical ability with well-developed problem solving skills
Salary:
£30,000 - £34,000 + overtime
