The Company and the Role:
Superb Breakfast Chef opportunity in a luxury bespoke venue near Petersfield, for a passionate Chef, permanent part time breakfast working hours, with desire and interest cooking for up to 30 people.
This amazing Company is offering an awesome opportunity for an experienced Chef to work roughly 16-18 hours per week, covering the breakfast service hours which can start at 7:00 and finish by 10:00 – 10:30 roughly.
Responsible for the breakfast service preparation, cooking and clean down of the kitchen after service had finished.
Busiest breakfast shifts for the hotels will be over the weekends and on a Wednesday when the venue holds a successful Breakfast Meeting for 30 delegates.
For the rest of the week breakfast service can vary greatly with occupancy at this 12 room luxury venue.
Afternoon Tea is an area that this premier luxury venue would like to expand into, so if you have experience, knowledge and confidence with an afternoon tea service, then this would be a genuine advantage.
Key Features of the Role:
Breakfast Chef hours will start early morning about 7:00am to start service about 7:30am, both weekdays and weekends, working as the sole Chef and kitchen member of staff.
Preparing, cooking and cleaning down after a breakfast service that will only ever have a maximum of 30 covers.
Working roughly up to 18 hours per week, with flexibility depending on hotel occupancy.
Future opportunity to develop a competitive afternoon tea service at this amazing location and fantastic country house venue.
Live in accommodation is available to the successful Breakfast Chef.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Accomplished Chef and or Cook experience is obviously essential, and previous Breakfast Chef experience would be preferred.
Sole kitchen worker experience is essential, as you will be responsible for the kitchen during breakfast service.
Premier menu and fresh food cooking experience, cooking from scratch and preparation.
Cooked successfully for up to 30 guests.
Must be willing and confident in a part time permanent Chef based position.
Any Afternoon Tea service experience would also be very much preferred.
Your own transport is also preferred to get to interview.
Additional catering qualifications would help support your application.
What’s on Offer?
Breakfast Chef role will offer an hourly rate ranging from £8ph to £9ph.
Working hours per week ranging from 16-18 starting at 7:00 and finishing about 10:30 depending on guest numbers for breakfast.
Permanent based role.
