Job Details
A long established haulage transport company based in Ely, who specialise in bulk tippers, tankers and ADR deliveries are looking to recruit a number of Class 1 HGV Drivers. The Class 1 Driver will be reliable, conscientious and self-motivated. Having an ADR licence is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided. This is a full-time position and will involve nights away.
Applications from suitably experienced ex-military personnel (British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy or Royal Marines) are strongly encouraged
Key Duties:
- Delivering in a safe manner complying with all relevant legal and company procedures
- Knowledge of regulations surrounding safe working and tachographs
- Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly
Person Specification
Essential:
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- C+E licence
- Clean and current UK driving licence
Desirable:
- ADR licence
Salary:
£36,000 - £37,000 + OTE (circa £43k) and benefits
