The Company and the Role:
The company is a leading Aviation Training and Technology company in China who have added fitness training to their portfolio of packages, they offer to a wide range of Aviation related clients, in several major cities including Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzen, China.
They are seeking an Aviation Physical Training Instructor with an Armed Forces background, preferably an Air Force background to deliver bespoke training programmes specifically to Pilots in groups or on an individual one to one basis, aimed at raising confidence, self-esteem and physical ability.
The position is offered on a 5-year contract
Key Features of the Role:
Working as part of team of 5 PTI`s planning and conducting progressive general fitness training, coaching sessions for the Company at the Clients Sites.
Work specifically with Pilots on an as required basis for fitness assessments and appraisals.
This may also be on a one to one basis dependent on client requirements.
Planning diets as well as a good understanding of physiotherapy and sports psychology and be well versed in the latest fitness trends and methods.
Knowledge and Skills:
Ideally you will be a Military / Ex-Military Aviation Physical Training Instructor (PTI) with some teaching experience or as a minimum have attended promotion courses (NCO Cadres) with man management experience. The Company`s preference is to recruit an Instructor who has served in a Country`s Air Force.
Specifically, your skills in the physical training of Pilots will be a valuable asset in this role.
Clearly you must be physically fit and understand the levels of knowledge and skills appropriate for different ages.
Ideally a Degree in Sports Science or a related subject.
Able to plan diets as well as a good understanding of physiotherapy and sports psychology and be well versed in the latest fitness trends and methods.
Excellent communication, organisational and presentational skills and be able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive professional attitude.
Excellent inter-personal skills and can work with persons from different cultural background so a high level of patience will be beneficial.
Strong personal commitment to equal opportunities in practice which encompasses gender, race, religion, disability and sexual orientation.
Experienced in formulating fitness training plans and setting up a physical fitness training curriculum.
PC literate, e.g. MS Office.
What`s on Offer:
5 year fixed term contract.
Negotiable salary according to experience.
Excellent benefits package which includes flights allowance, accommodation in an international standard apartment, meals, laundry, medical insurance, life assurance and local transport are all provided free.
Possible family relocation and paid child education.
The basic salary is paid in US dollars for an Ex-Patriate employee.
The salary and bonus after a 15% in country tax will therefore be \"tax free\" provided you meet the \"tax free\" criteria laid down by your home country tax authorities
There is first year bonus, also an end of contract bonus after 5 years.
10 days holiday plus 8 in country holiday days and 10 days during the Chinese New Year festivities.
2 free flights per year back to your home base. Mobilization and De-Mobilization flights are paid for by our client.
