A little more about the role:
Working within our Software Development Apprenticeship Programme you will ideally have previous experience in coaching, mentoring & assessing groups of adults (perhaps in the workplace) to grow and develop their knowledge and skills.
What you'll get up to:
Once fully trained, you will have a caseload of around 50-60 learners, you will engage (split between both remote and F2F visits) with our learners to complete planned assessments in Software Development OR Software Engineering apprenticeship programmes as per the qualification curriculum.
Your approach, organisation, proactivity and coaching skills will help retain learners and ensure each learner achieves their assigned projects and qualification in line with the targets and objectives you have agreed in the Individual Learning Plan

What you'll bring to the team:
A Degree, Higher Education Qualification in Software Development (JAVA/Opensource/C#/SQL) OR significant industry experience in areas to be coaching and mentoring in is essential
Excellent communication skills
Ability to identify individual learner needs
Ability to provide feedback in a way that motivates individual learners
Ability to identify and help learners to overcome potential barriers to progress and achievement
Organised, pro-active, able to build excellent business relationships
