Trusted permanent Test Technician opportunity in North London, with a successful Global specialist in surveillance and navigation systems for land and sea environments, in this pioneering company you are responsible for the complete testing of highly complex electro-mechanical products, forming part of marine radar navigation product range.

As the Test Technician you will be working out of the London office, reporting to a Team Leader and be responsible for the complete testing of highly complexity electro-mechanical products.
Key Features of the Role:
Proven and able to carry out comprehensive testing, including RF systems, fault finding, re-work and the assembly of electro-mechanical equipment to an exacting standard of trusted quality.
As Test Technician you are required to work to supplied detailed procedures, comprehensive drawings, documents and change notes, schematics plus oral and written instructions.
All work and re-work must be to a high standard of accuracy, consisting of operations such as: soldering and unsoldering, wiring and crimping, drilling, filing and cutting, detailed re-work of printed circuit assemblies.
Skilled with the application of mastic and adhesives, whilst using a variety of tools and equipment necessary to complete the operation(s).
Trusted to inspect and check your own work and the work of others, including any proactive troubleshooting and problem solving.
Actively participate and engage with the creation of SOPs, test documentation, plus raise defect reports with confidence and support the operations team.
As Test Technician you view, print and enter data via the data management system.
Have a conscientious and proactive approach with attention to detail, able to create and work within a team environment whilst implementing, continuously, improvements and maintain the highest quality.
Keeping services, materials and work areas orderly, exercising care in their use, maintain the 5S standards and conform to all Company ethics, health and safety, compliance and quality requirements.
Knowledge and Skills:
Test Technician has the ability to interpret, understand and follow test specifications
Fault finding to component level
Skilled use of various test equipment
Self-Management skills and Teamwork
Keen eye for attention to Detail
