As a Contracts Manager your remit covers interaction with external and internal stakeholders, encompassing the provision of guidance, assistance, technical and commercial inputs and negotiation support. Successfully supporting the achievements of the bids financial / strategic objectives, ensuring compliance with ethical and contractual undertakings.
Responsible for providing strong working commercial knowledge, support acumen and advisory services across all departments in the business, particularly Sales and Programme functions.

Expectation to travel within the UK and overseas at short notice as part of the role.

Knowledge and Skills:
Current UK resident for the last 5 years and able to confirm proof of address, as well as being either a GB or EU passport holder. A clean UK driving licence and own vehicle.
Current contract or Commercial Management experience is a must.
Compliance experience in operational instructions or procedures.
Extensive knowledge of UK and international contracting, commercial principles and legislation.
Current experience bidding to and managing contracts in the UK and international markets, linked with relevant and successful negotiation skills.
Pragmatic and commercially alert, effective at identifying and assessing risk, mitigations and risk management.
Good working knowledge of UK Export Controls and intellectual Property Legislations,
Excellent proven understanding of drafting a wide range of contractual documentation.
Formal legal training / IACCM would be an advantage.
Degree level or equivalent educational level is also required.
