Description :
A Global Project Manager is needed at a company that is a services provider to renowned private and public institutions across the world. Candidates will provide strong leadership and support to internal and external stakeholders in all phases of the project: design, installation, financial management and customer service. Travel can be expected to North American, Asia and the Middle East. Flexibility with regards to start times and overnight stays depending on location and length of projects is essential. Global Project Manager’s should have a minimum 5 years’ experience of contract/project management and proven leadership skills. The clients of this company have very high expectations and Global Project Manager’s will have to be of strong mind and character to balance their needs with company expectations as well.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing strong leadership to the Installations Team by driving a culture of continuous improvement and exceeding very high standards of work.
- Conduct readiness and pre-installation checks highlighting any risks/issues that may adversely impact an efficient and successful installation.
- Ensure documentation is relevant, informative and maintained.
- Responsible for all Health and Safety matters relating to site Installations.
- Regularly monitor, review and report on the progress of projects, any delays encountered and resourcing amendments to the company and customer.
- Undertake quality checks and control of all installations and works.
- Ensure all budgets are managed for contracts
- Maintain a strong personable working relationship with all clients
- Ensure that Company Standards, Ethics and Brand are always maintained
- Manage all direct and subcontract labour on projects to ensure service levels are met.
- Responsible for successful sign off or otherwise of all projects.
- End of project analysis and feedback to internal departments.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven Leadership skills
- At least 5 years’ experience of contract/project management in a commercial environment
- Proven organisational and commercial skills
- Experience in managing customer expectations and opportunities
- A good understanding of project financial management
- Experience managing multi-trades and contractors.
- A proactive attitude with pride displayed in your work
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel freely throughout the world
Desirable
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

- £45,000 to £55,000 pa DOE
