Description :

A well-established garage based in West London, specialising in VW classic vehicles and campervans for over 20 years is seeking a Vehicle Mechanic. Their team of highly skilled and motivated experts deliver outstanding service, repair and renovation works to their clients’ vehicles. They are seeking another skilled and motivated mechanic to join their team due to business growth and high demand for their expertise and service. If you are a skilled mechanic and are looking to join a small team in the heart of London, who strives to deliver outstanding service, then please apply.

Applications from ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Marines) will be particularly relevant for this role and are strongly encouraged.

On a daily basis you will be working with a team of 7 people in the work shop on anything from VW classic cars to campervans and also modern cars. You will report to the workshop manager. You will have a strong background in Mechanics and be able to demonstrate a competent approach to fault finding, diagnostics and repairs to vehicles old and new. Whilst you will not be required to carry out any body work repairs, it would be advantageous to have experience in welding, although not essential. Experience in, or a desire and/or a willingness to learn, electrical conversion would be preferred but again not absolutely essential. You will have a strong work ethic, be able to work efficiently as part of a team and individually, working to sometimes tight deadlines to get works completed. Over time is available before and after your shift, plus on the weekends. Over time will be paid at the standard rate. We are looking for someone who is a team player and shares our passion for delivering outstanding service and works to our customer’s vehicles. If you have the skills we are looking for, are enthusiastic, work hard and you are willing to learn, and want to be part of a great team, we’d like to hear from you.

  • Good work ethic, self-motivated & desire to learn
