The Company and the Role:
The Company is a global temporary facility builder, and integrated FM and Logistics provider. They operate in a number of environments but within the UK their work tends to focus on providing support services to large engineering and construction projects.
The company has recently won a contract to build a number of temporary buildings, including Offices, Canteens, Welfare facilities, Medical room, Warehouses and a Training facility, in support of a major construction and engineering project in the Waterside area of Southampton.
The Company now has an urgent need for an Administrator to assist the Admin Supervisor.
The role is temporary and likely to last until end of March 2020, approximately 8 months.
Initially based in Southampton City Centre, the role will eventually be site based in the Waterside area to the west of Southampton.

Key Features of the Role:
Liaise with senior managers and project team managers to handle requests and queries from them
Liaise with the principal recruitment provider and the nominated payroll company.
Answer and direct phone calls organise and schedule appointments.
Plan meetings and take detailed minutes and assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms.
Develop and maintain a filing system ,update and maintain office policies and procedures and order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers.
Book travel arrangements and submit and reconcile expense reports and provide general support to visitors.
Follow Hazard elimination program (HELP)
On the completion of the building of the various buildings, your duties may also include the administration of the compound site and the various services the Company will continue to supply to the Principal Contractor which will encompass catering, housekeeping, security, waste management and transport etc

Knowledge and Skills Required:
Ideally be an accomplished administrator with knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
Ideally experience in a construction environment and or petrochemical construction environment and knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Ideally you will have a valid CCNSG passport or equivalent and be able to follow safety rules as assigned by the Company.
Proficient in MS Office Word and Excel.

What’s on Offer?
£25,200 per annum + benefits.
