The Company and the Role:
The company is a leading Aviation Training and Technology company in China who have added Pilot training to their portfolio of packages, they offer to a wide range of Aviation related clients, in several major cities including Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzen, China.
They are seeking a Head of Pilot Training with an Armed Forces background to deliver bespoke training programmes to groups of 10 or more on an individual or one to one basis, aimed at raising confidence, self-esteem and physical ability.
The position is offered on a 1-year contract.
Key Features of the Role:
Lead the planning and conducting progressive training of Aviation related staff, for the Company at the Clients Sites.
Work with clients on an as required basis for training assessments and appraisals with an approximate class size of 10 which will be a mix of aviation related staff.
This may also be on a one to one basis dependent on client requirements.
Knowledge and Skills:
Ideally you will be an accomplished Military / Ex-Military Head of Pilot Training with some teaching experience and man management.
Candidates below the rank of Group Captain or equivalent are unlikely to have the necessary experience and seniority that the Company requires.
Extensive experience as a Head of Pilot Training with good understanding the latest training methods relating to aviation staff
Clearly you must understand the levels of knowledge and skills appropriate to Pilot training.
Ideally a Degree in a related subject.
Excellent communication, organisational and presentational skills and be able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive professional attitude.
Excellent inter-personal skills and can work with persons from different cultural background so a high level of patience will be beneficial.
Strong personal commitment to equal opportunities in practice which encompasses gender, race, religion, disability and sexual orientation.
Experienced in formulating training plans and setting up a up training curriculum and have experience training and managing staff.
PC literate, e.g. MS Office.
What`s on Offer:
1 year fixed term contract.
Negotiable salary according to experience.

The basic salary is paid in US dollars for an Ex-Patriate employee.
The salary and bonus after a 15% in country tax will therefore be \"tax free\" provided you meet the \"tax free\" criteria laid down by your home country tax authorities
There is first year bonus.
14 days holiday plus 10 days during the Chinese New Year festivities.
2 free flights per year back to your home base. Mobilization and De-Mobilization flights are paid for by the Company.
