About the Job
As a Field Service Engineer you will provide onsite service support, carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs on LPG, Diesel and Electric forklift trucks. To enable you to do this you will receive an initial, comprehensive New Employee induction, a fully equipped, modern service Vehicle, regular Technical/ Health & Safety Training, Company Supplied Workwear & PPE, overnight (SMART LOCKER) delivery system for all urgent/essential Parts requirements
The role of Field Service Engineer is based from the Ipswich Depot and will cover a designated area. The Salary for this Field Service Engineer is between £26 K and £28K dependant on experience and there is also overtime available. The working hours are 40 per week (Monday to Friday 08.00am to 4.30pm) and the Company Benefits are 23 days holiday (Plus Bank Holidays) which will increase with service, Company pension scheme, Life Assurance and a Health Care Plan)
Experience and Requirements
Ideally this Field Service Engineer will have a formal qualification such as NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds and / or a minimum of 3 years experience in the Forklift Industry.

Good communicator with a customer focussed approach
Highly organised, flexible with time management skills
You will be working remotely from the depots and not travelling back to the depot on a daily/regular basis. Most Engineers come to the depot twice a week to dispose of waste.
