Credit Control Manager based at Willenhall

Our client a global leader in door opening products, solutions and services for the institutional, commercial and consumer markets.
We are looking for a Credit Control Manager within the Shared Services Finance Team reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.
The object of the role is proactively and efficiently manage the Credit Control function of this company Opening Solutions Uk & Ireland, ensuing the optimization of cash collection from its customers
Key Responsibilities
Manage the Credit Control function, ensuring the collection of cash is maximised
Implement and manage robust credit processes across the whole of the UK and Ireland
Work alongside the Companys Credit Insurance provider ensuring that strong disciplines are in place to minimise the Groups credit exposure
Manage the legal action where escalation is required to recover overdue balances and material debt related disputes
manage, train and develop the credit control team
Set challening but achievable targets for the team and ensure these are met whilst maintaining a team ethos
Build strong collaboration with the Group`s business units to support the sales process whilst highlighting the importance of strong credit control techniques
Review and recommend debtor provisions in order to comply with the company group policies
Produce monthly management reports on Debtor days, Aged Debt reporting and Reconciliation of Sales Lesdger Control Accounts
Maintain lead culture by continually looking for improvements to the process
Other ad-hoc tasks as required
The candidate will Have
Credit and Sales Ledger management experience, preferably in the constrution/manufacturing sector
Have proven line management experience
be able to lead a team to achieve results
have proficiency in the use of Microsoft Applications including Word and Excel
Be assertive, challening and confient with strong inter-personal skills
Posses strong financial analytical skills and problem solving skills
Have the ability to influence internally and externally
be able to make appropriate, independent, business decisions
