A global provider of ultra-violet-enabled fast-drying systems is seeking Installation and Service Engineers to join their expanding team. The Installation and Service Engineers install, commission and service LED-UV systems that use a fast drying process to cure inks, adhesives or external coatings for a range of manufacturing and printing processes. This role involves extensive travel with approximately 50% of your time spent in Europe, South Africa, Asia, Middle-East and the US. The Installation and Service Engineers will also have the opportunity to work on in-house system assemblies when not travelling. Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission equipment on time and within budget
- Service and troubleshoot LED-UV systems in accordance with service level agreements
- Provide customer training in the safe operation of LED-UV systems
- Provide feedback on any repeat problems and contribute to their resolution
- Recommend improvements to the design, installation, commissioning or service of equipment
- Deliver customer progress and action reports
- Provide regular reports to the Installation and Service Manager
- Undertake work at the factory such as assemblies or system repairs
- Support the Installation and Service Department in all activities
- Process timesheets, expenses, mileage forms, test/commissioning sheets, etc.
Person Specification:
- Ideally, based within a commutable distance of major locations in Berkshire
- Ability to travel internationally, with no restrictions, at short notice
- Prepared to spend 50% of your time in the UK and 50% worldwide
- A well-rounded skill-set with ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- A logical mind and strong work ethic
- Physically fit
- Must hold a current driving licence and valid passport
