The Company and the Role:
Never a dull day with this flourishing family business that is growing and becoming dominant within their region. With new customers coming on board all the time the existing team of 4 FLT Engineers have had to shuffle creating the opportunity for a replacement field Fork Lift Truck Engineer.
The Company provides all types of fork lift trucks whether selling, leasing or refurbishing plus the accessories that go with the vehicles.
You will be given a maintenance van, tools and a mobile `phone with direction from the MD who will also be your line manager.
Based at their headquarters and depot within central Cambridgeshire, you will be travelling to and from their customers` sites within the whole of the county and sometimes further afield.
Some of the newer customers are outside the county boundary confirming the exciting growth that is enabling the company to blossom.
Key Features of the Role:
As a Fork Lift Truck Engineer, you will be required to service, maintain and refurbish all parts of their comprehensive range of Fork Lift trucks.
Working with their customer base you will represent the Company, in the field, and be required to provide the full support expected by their network.
The role is field based, primarily within Cambridgeshire. You will be given top up training if required and the necessary tools to carry out the role.
Knowledge and Skills:
You will ideally be an accomplished Fork Lift Truck Engineer, preferably trained with gas, diesel and electric engines.
You will be required to diagnose and repair trucks quickly and efficiently and therefore should have good diagnostic skills.
The main requirement is to have a thorough knowledge of diesel engines and a minimum understanding of the gas and electric engines.
Some in house training will be available for the gas and electric engines if required.
The role will involve going to the customers` sites, therefore a full driving licence will be essential.
What`s on Offer:
£10.00 - £14.50 per hour dependent on experience. In addition, a company van, mobile `phone, tools will be supplied. There will be occasional overtime.
