Gas Service Engineer covering Perth, Aberdeen, Dundee and Fife
This is a great opportunity for an Engineer with excellent problem solving and communication skills who is confident working on their own initiative on customer sites and who enjoys mainly working outdoors. A willignness to support other team members and colleagues is expected. You in turn will be supported through an on going commitment to develop your own skills, understanding and expertise as an LPG specialist.

This company are looking for a flexible and motivated Gas Service Engineer to join our field based team, providing engineering service and emergency response to customers in the area.
Predominately working outdoors, key responsibilities will include:
Installing and maintaining bulk tanks and assets (full training will be given)
Participation in a standby rota to respond to gas emergencies out of normal working hours
Participation in travel in order to meet customer service standards for our largely rural customer base
Ensuring customer services levels are met at all times
Please not this vacancy dosent involve servicing or working on gas appliances
We are looking for
A customer focussed individual with experience of delivering great service to gas consumers
Previous hands on gas industry experience is essential
Any relevant gas engineering experience would be considered useful and an Understanding of LPG and the installation and maintenance of bulk LPG tanks and cyclinders would be a distinct advantage
Current Core Gas (CCN) ACS certification essential, LPG Qualification an advantage however we will consider putting the right individual through this qualification if needed
Whilst previous expereince of working with LPG tanks would be ideal, full training and support will be given to the right individual
This role requires participation in a stadby rota to respond to gas emergencies out of normal working hours and can involve extensive travel in order to meet customer service standards.You will need to have a flexible, positive and adaptable approach
A full UK driving licence is essential
Have an indepth knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards, including Health & Safety awareness
Appreciate the importance of and be able to follow procedures and instructions
