Location: The Midlands and the South of England
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 + overtime and benefits
One of the largest integrators of Audio Visual solutions in the UK requires an experienced AV Project Manager/Senior Engineer to join their team. Our client supplies and installs AV products for a variety of industries nationwide. This is a dual role with the AV Project Manager/Senior Engineer providing not only AV installation and servicing, but also project management on new builds, as well as retro-fitting and refurbishment projects to commercial environments in the UK. Ideally, an AV Project Manager/Senior Engineer will have minimum 10 years’ experience as an AV Engineer with proven project management experience. With plans to expand the business, an AV Project Manager/Senior Engineer could be called out anywhere in the Midlands or the South of England. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out 1st and 2nd fix/commissioning and service calls to custom installations
- Attend briefing and pre-contract meetings, understanding installation requirements and possible issues, creating quotations, marking up of plans
- Serve as the primary point of contact for both clients and installers to the UK pub sector and also other commercial environments
- Installing/ fault-finding/servicing: LCD & LED visual displays, video walls, projectors, digital signage, CCTV, commercial/home automation, commercial audio systems, multi home audio systems, home cinema, multi-room HD, SD,RF distribution, as well as associated cabling and building of AV equipment racks
Person Specification (essential)
- Minimum 10 years within the AV sector as an engineer
- Electrical engineering bias
- Proven project management experience
- Strong client facing skills
- Flexibility for frequent overnight stays
- Clean and current driving licence
