The Company and the Role:
Cool short-term contract with a privately-owned refrigeration company based just outside Southampton, as Operations Controller, managing Service Engineers. Guaranteed 3 weeks work and the opportunity to go permanent.

The company has over 30 years of professional refrigeration experience and are well known for their professional and thorough understanding of their client’s requirements, especially when it comes to service management contract.

The essence of the role is to use transferable skills in areas such as co-ordinating, prioritising, organization, time and asset management, engineer and client communication, to make sure that customers are serviced correctly, and that new enquiries or business support issues are re-directed to the correct contact points.
Key Features of the Operations Controller Role:
Assisting the Service Manager in daily activities and co-ordinating the work of 5 Service Engineers.
Undertaking basic accountancy tasks such as invoicing and processing purchase invoices.
Answering phone calls as the 1st point of contact and diary management.
Creating and processing contracts.
Providing customer contact for service customers.
Operations Controller work Mon to Fri 08:30 till 17:00, 30 mins break (40 hour week).
Knowledge and Skills Required:
To be successful in this role you will need to be an accomplished Operations Controller or Co-ordinator who can commit to starting on Mon 21st Jan 2019 and working for all 3 weeks.
Refrigeration industry sector and service maintenance knowledge would be amazing but is not essential, as an Operations Controller can utilise transferable skills such as.
Co-ordination, relationship management, prioritisation, organisation, communication, calm and emotional robust personality, professional and business support focused character.
Having completed the listed key features in various other roles.
Own transport is essential to get to the location as no reliable public transport, or you must live locally.
What’s on Offer?
Basic salary of £21,700 per annum.
Potential full-time permanent opportunity as the Operations Controller after the 3-week paternity cover.
Working Monday to Friday 08:30 till 17:00, 30 mins break (40 hour week).
Free parking on site.
As this is a 3 week contract there are no additional employee benefits, unless you are taken on as a permanent member of staff.
You will be on the company’s payroll and your pro-rata basic salary will be paid by them directly.
