HQ5678 Sales Support Coordinator
Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £20,000 - £24,000 DOE
Hours: 40 hrs a week Monday to Friday
Forces Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Sales Support Coordinator to join the team for a leading provider of software solutions for the scaffolding and construction industry. The Sales Support Coordinator will be responsible for qualifying leads, follow up inbound enquires and leads, be able to identify the customers’ needs and provide a solution to their business. You may be required at times to work outside of your normal working hours, so flexibility is essential

Key responsibilities;
- Learn the company’s sales and business development tools and processes.
- Develop a deep understanding of the product offering, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Build opportunity pipeline by identifying key decision makers within target accounts using internal sales tools and other publicly available information, initiating calls, sending emails, and qualifying opportunities.
- Support sales representative success by helping prioritize and schedule key activities while screening disruptive or non-essential items.
- Communicate the value proposition to prospective customers.
- Schedule and confirm customer attendance of sales appointments for qualified opportunities with our sales representatives
- Follow up with customers on sales activities to ensure continuity and uninterrupted progress toward deal close.
- Brief sales representatives on relevant information for use sales presentations and other deal development activities.
- Assist sales representatives in handoff of customer requests and information to support, development, and other teams.
- Provide basic, introductory product demonstrations to customers
- Assist with the development and deployment of marketing efforts, such as brochures, website content, blog posts, social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) posts, etc.
Essential;
- Bachelors/Associate’s degree or equivalent relevant Sales experience
- At least 1+ year’s prior sales or sales support experience.
- Software/high tech experience within construction would be an advantage
- Experience of generating and qualifying sales leads
- Experience with communicating with customers via email, phone, and web meetings.
- Excellent Communication skills
- CRM experience
- Results-oriented
- Self-Starter; able to work on initiative and grasps opportunities
