The Company and the Role:
The Company is one of the largest Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) suppliers in the UK and has over 30 years` experience providing alternative energy solutions to domestic and commercial customers.
Part of a major plc, a sales, marketing, distribution and business support services group headquartered in Europe, the Company is a highly successful business that places people at the heart of their organisation.
They are now seeking a hazardous area Electrician specializing in the installation, maintenance, inspection and testing of LPG plants the length and breadth of the country.
Ideally you will be located on the M62 corridor between Leeds and Liverpool.
Key Features of the Role:
Undertake electrical inspections of customer installations and company installations across the UK.
Undertake installations of new customer LPG/LNG plant and carry out electrical assembly of LPG vaporisers and skid units.
As a national role, it is expected that nights out will be required as part of the role. It will be expected that there will be an average of 3 nights out per week. Accommodation and meals will be provided for by the company.
A Company vehicle will be supplied with a fuel card.
Knowledge and Skills:
Ideally a time served approved Electrician. (apprentice trained) experienced in electrical equipment in hazardous areas and explosive atmospheres (COMPEX) MODULES EX01, EX02, EX03, EX04.
Have Inspection and testing City & Guilds 2391 - 17th edition certification and Inspection and testing City & Guilds 2394 and 2395 - 17th edition certification
Ideally you will be familiar with NICEIC reporting and certification and either have a gas safety passport, CCSNG safety passport or JIB safety passport.
A flexible approach to working hours is essential.
What`s on Offer:
The basic salary will be dependent upon your experience and the qualifications you hold.
Overtime to be worked on an \"as and when\" basis, when required
A Company vehicle is supplied with a fuel card, accommodation and meals will be arranged as required.
Holiday entitlement of 25 days pro rata plus Bank and Public Holiday entitlement.
Death in Service insurance and a NEST pension scheme.
Fully committed training, development and refreshment courses, planned each year both in-house and externally supported by the Company.
