BS5653: Quality Co-ordinator
Salary: Circa £33,000 p.a. pro rata
Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Job Type: Contract. December 2018 – March 2021
A large leading manufacturer based in Southampton is now looking for a Quality Co-ordinator to work on a fixed term contract basis. The Quality Co-ordinator will be responsible for overseeing the manufacture of accessories relating to an offshore wind farm project, which will require a high level of documentation from a Quality perspective.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of Data packs for inclusion within the Manufacturing Record Books (MRB).
Production Non-conformances handling:
Reporting - weekly monitoring status of planned production and flagging of any minor & cosmetic NCs or any other issues. Update relevant report for submission to PPL after Plant Manager’s approval. Compile HSE data related to the project as well as estimation of workman hours dedicated to the project. Extract information from site statistics.
Auditing - conduct Quick Process audits on the manufacturing lines; support any customer audit from preparation stage right to final execution; support internal Audits
Factory acceptance tests (FATs).
Key Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience in a Quality role.
Relevant previous experience in document administration
Relevant previous experience in data inputting/handling.
Relevant previous experience in a manufacturing organisation.
Knowledge of UK health and safety legislative requirements (an advantage)
