Maintenance Electrician

Out client is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to support to production in order to keep the machinery running. Proactive Maintenance is an essential part of this role.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To carry out scheduled preventive maintenance checks and procedures, record and report any adverse symptoms or trends
To undertake allocated maintenance activities
To respond to and asist with breakdown/emergency situations on any item of plant or equipment as necessary
To carry out diagnostic checks on faulty plant and equipment and strip down, replace/repair and reassemble as necessary
To correctly interpret electrical drawings and work from hand sketches/ verbal instructions to carry out repairs and maintenance
To use hand tools and equipment
To use measuring equipment and instruments for installation
To report any malfunctions of plant and equipment
To ensure the secure, safe storgae of material and equipment at all times
To maintain the work area in a clean and tidy condition
To maintain all plant and equipment maintenance records up to date
To undertake PAT Testing as and when required
Qualifications
Worked in foundry environment
Electrical 17th Edition
Good communication skills
