Job Details
One of the largest integrators of Audio Visual solutions in the UK, supplying and installing AV products for a variety of industries nationwide, require an experienced AV Project Manager / Engineer to join their team and provide AV servicing / installation and project management, on new builds, refurbishment and retro-fitting to commercial environments in the UK. Ideally, you will have around 10 years’ experience as an AV Engineer with proven project management experience. In addition you will be based in either the Midlands or Southern England (Oxfordshire, Hampshire etc.). The client offers a competitive salary package, plus overtime, company vehicle, mobile phone and company pension scheme.

The Senior Engineer / Project Manager will carry out 1st fix and 2nd fix/commissioning to LCD & LED visual displays, video walls, projectors, digital signage, commercial/home automation, commercial audio systems, multi home audio systems, home cinema, multi-room HD, SD,RF distribution, as well as associated cabling and building of AV equipment racks. The successful candidate will manage projects and service customers’ estates of AV and CCTV equipment
Key Responsibilities
- Attend briefing and pre-contract meetings
- Understanding Installation requirements and possible issues creating, quotations, marking up of plans
- Serve as the primary point of contact for both clients and installers to the UK pub sector and also other commercial environments
- Carry out 1st and 2nd fix/commissioning and service calls to custom installations
Person Specification
Essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within the AV sector as an engineer
- Proven project management experience
- Electrical engineering bias
- Strong client facing skills
- Clean current driving licence

£28,000 - £32,000 + benefits, overtime
