HQ5574 Multi Skilled Engineer
Location: Ely
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Hours: 42 hours per week
Forces Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team at one of Europe’s leading fresh produce companies. The Multi Skilled Engineer will assist the Maintenance Manager in providing support for all production activity
Applications from Ex-Military personnel are strongly encouraged (British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy and Royal Marines) however all applications will be considered.
Key responsibilities;
- To maintain machinery, services and supplies to the site
- Follow a planned preventive maintenance routine to optimise the running efficiency of all equipment
- Ensure all jobs are prioritised in a manner that minimises disruption to production and facilitates the production process
- Ensure compliance with company’s Health and Safety procedures.
- Support the Environmental Policy by managing resources helping to minimise the environmental impact
- Knowledge of the practical application of manufacturing and Lean Engineering (including 5S and standard work)
Essential;
- Mechanical and Electrical experience
- 17th Edition
- Welding experience would be an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- A degree of flexibility
