Engineering Manager
Double Day Shifts 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm
Our Client is now seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to take ownership of the engineering department with responsibiity for the planned maintenance, corrective and reactive to support the bottling function. A good knowledge of the functionality of the packaging line and liquid processing is required for this role.
Key areas of responsibility/ Skills required are
Putting in place a planned maintenance system
Ensuring that spare parts are available and stock monitored
Increase the line efficiency ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum
A sound knowledge of PLCS and experience of working in both mechanical and electrical disciplines
A good knowledge of diagnostic skills
Management of outside contractors
Capex project management
Implementation of TPM
Managing a small team
We are looking for candidates with minium qualifications of NVQ level 3 with a relevant HNC/HND or equivalent. Excellent communication and relationship building skills are a must, as it a continuous improvement focused approach. You should have experience of modern maintenance and methodology and of Lean manufacturing techniques including TPM. Experience gained within a FMCG/ Food and Drinks production environment is also essential. This is an opportunity to work in a fast paced growing business offering excellent career opportunities.
