An established, multi-award winning motor dealership which operates seven sites and five franchises within East Anglia is looking to recruit trained Vehicle Technicians to provide an excellent standard of servicing, inspection and repair to the vehicles within the Ipswich area.
Ideally the Vehicle Technician would have minimum NVQ level 3 qualifications or relevant experience as an automotive engineer / automotive mechanic. The company is seeking driven individuals and in return will provide an excellent remuneration package, regular training opportunities and benefits.

Main Duties:
- Accurately, efficiently and skilfully undertake servicing, tyre fitting, MOTs (if qualified to do so) and repair of customer motor vehicles
- Perform Vehicle Health Checks on every vehicle that is worked on
- Diligently diagnose faults that are presented using the correct equipment
- Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with Company, manufacturer and industry guidelines
- Fulfil all tasks to the customer’s complete satisfaction
- Help the Company achieve industry leading standards of process efficiency
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an Automotive or related technical discipline
- Ability to diagnose, service, and repair vehicles, safely and efficiently
- Have effective, proven customer service skills
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good eye for detail
- Work well in a team and independently when required
- Have a passion for the motor trade
- A desire to keep your knowledge up to date within the industry
- Full driving licence
Salary:
£22,000 - £28,000 (DOE)
