The Company and the Role:
Amazing Strategic Engineer opportunity in award-winning national Telecommunications business, supporting customers regionally based across London and the South East. This is a permanent role.
The company provides development services for projects and support in a range of technologies and disciplines.
The company supports both hardware and software, performs complex fault finding, configuring, testing, decommissioning, installations and repairs.
In this regional role you will cover all general duties including lone working and team work to support the business.
Key Features of the Role:
As Strategic Engineer you will be responsible for the completion of any required project or site documentation, for the purposes of project or site handover to both customers and in-life management.
Raise technical escalations to senior team members to ensure problem free solutions deployment.
Maintain a level of knowledge, skills and certification in alignment with business needs and manufacturers’ requirements.
Provide functional support for other internal departments based on skill, location and availability requirements.
Knowledge and Skills:
As an accomplished Strategic Engineer, you must have knowledge, skills and experience within the follow areas, and this must be detailed in your CV, otherwise you will not be considered.
Understanding of engineering principles and practice, supported by the achievement of the manufacturer accreditations.
You must have an Engineering background in a customer service or field engineering role with a high degree of emphasis on design and troubleshooting.
You must be competent in providing deskside support and field service support, providing delivery services to projects and server hardware installations, and basic server skills.
You must have a current driving licence and customer care experience.
What’s on Offer?
Basic salary range is £23,000 to £26,000, which will be assessed at interview and based on experience plus other contributing factors.
£3,600 Travel Allowance
Working hours Monday to Friday 8:30 to 17:30.
25 days holiday + bank holidays + additional 1 day’s holiday for every year worked up to 30 days holiday maximum.
The option to buy up to an extra 5 holiday days.
