BS5607: QHSE Project Co-ordinator

The world’s largest manufacturer of high-technology cables and systems for energy and telecommunications is now looking for a QHSE Project Co-ordinator to work on a fixed term contract basis. Reporting to the Process and Logistics Manager, the QHSE Project Co-ordinator be responsible for overseeing the manufacture of accessories for the cable system relating to an offshore wind farm project, which will require a high level of documentation from a Quality perspective.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of Data packs for inclusion within the Manufacturing Record Books (MRB).
Production Non-conformances handling:
Reporting - weekly monitoring status of planned production and flagging of any minor & cosmetic NCs or any other issues. Update relevant report for submission to PPL after Plant Manager’s approval. Compile HSE data related to the project as well as estimation of workman hours dedicated to the project. Extract information from site statistics.
Training, documentation and records relating to production process.
Auditing - conduct Quick Process audits on the manufacturing lines; support any customer audit from preparation stage right to final execution; support internal Audits
Factory acceptance tests (FATs).
Health, Safety and Environment.
Key Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor of Engineering degree.
Previous experience of QHSE management system models i.e. ISO9001, ISO14001 & OHSAS 18001.
Internal Auditor Training preferable.
Relevant previous experience in document administration (for wind farm projects an advantage).
Relevant previous experience in data inputting/handling.
Relevant previous experience in a manufacturing organisation.
Knowledge of UK health and safety legislative requirements (an advantage)
